Larry Dohrs has been visiting, studying, working in and advocating for SE Asia since 1982. He holds an MA in SE Asian Studies from the University of Michigan, is a Visiting Scholar in SE Asian Studies at Texas Christian University, and his words have been published in Time, Newsweek and many other newspapers, magazines and journals. As Vice President, Asia-Pacific for the US based humanitarian nonprofit iRespond, he oversees a number of projects in Thailand and Myanmar (with Bangladesh to be added soon), working on behalf of refugees, migrants, the stateless, the sick, and the disadvantaged.
