Mazars Donates Laptops to Northern Thai NGOs; CMIRC Facilitates Distribution

For the past two years, CMIRC has collaborated with Mazars International (Thailand), the Lanna Needy Network, and former Rotarian Alan Dick of Siam Move Management Systems to distribute high-quality Dell laptops with Windows software to NGOs in Northern Thailand. This year, CMIRC received 29 decommissioned laptops from Mazars.

So far, we have distributed 10 to the Philanthropy Connections Foundation, 5 to the Lanna Needy Network, 4 to the Burma Children Medical Fund B.K. Kee Patient House, and 1 to the Direction for Life Foundation. Plans are underway to provide 3 to the Warm Heart Foundation, 2 to the Bookworm Foundation in Phrao, 2 to Daughters Rising in Mae Wang, 1 to the Lahu Foundation, and 1 to the Creative Life Foundation. Most laptops will support children in these programs, though some will replace outdated or broken administrative computers
